Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect?

A Myofascial treatment consists of a discussion concerning general
medical information and specific information regarding your present
complaint. This will include an in-depth assessment of your presenting
complaint as well as any other relevant examination procedures. During your first treatment this can take half an hour but you will not be charged for this extra time.

During subsequent treatments, further assessments will be carried out to establish changes to your posture, function and presenting complaint. Please inform your therapist of any changes to your medical circumstances.
Children under 12 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Where can I park?
 


There is space for one car outside Christmas Cottage but we would
politely request you do not park beyond the railings. There is further parking on the road down in the village.

Will I have to undress?

During a treatment you will be required to change down to your
underwear, or if you prefer, shorts and a bra top. During treatment you
will be draped with sheets or towels.

How do I pay for my appointment?

Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer.

Can I cancel or change my appointment?

Yes, you can. However, if you are unable to keep your appointment,
please give 24 hours advance notice, to ensure that you will not be
charged for your appointment.
Please note for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice a fee may be charged of 50% of the treatment cost.
